i finally have had enough of this piece of shite F150, i knew it was a mistake when i bought it and did it anyway, never again.

in any event for business tax reasons i need to act fast. need 4 full-size doors, 6' bed or close to it, 4WD, V8, satellite radio, tow package/rear end, 1/2 ton. I don't care about anything else. just need it to be reliable and not have shite breaking on it constantly. this is 50/50 work truck, everyday vehicle.

Chevy/GMC 1500
Dodge Ram
Toyota Tundra

price range is 40- 45,000. I'll attempt to trade in this 2011 F150 (lariat, 135K mi). i'm seeing similar warranties/etc on all these trucks.

GMC i'm familiar with, who has a dodge or tundra that can shed some knowledge?

What's your issues?

I have same exact truck (160k miles). Only ever oil changes and tire rotations.

I know the transmissions are notoriously shite

ETA: maybe not, I have the 5.0

ETA2: I am also over my truck as well. But I'm getting out of the truck game. I want a 2016 or newer Land Cruiser

We just purchased a Tundra Limited from Toyota of NOLA this week. They would work with you on price, they have very competitive prices listed on their website and one of the easiest vehicle purchases I have made.

Same. 2011 f150 (5.0) with 100k. All I've had to change is a $20 oil pressure sensor.

I wouldn't touch an ecoboost tho

You may want them to run the VIN on transmission recalls on yours. I do know a certain number of them are fricked. Not sure if your still under warranty or not

Not trying to convince you to stick with ford bc I agree the ecoboost is a piece of shite, at least in those years.

But the 5.0 is great

Yeah it just makes no sense.

I'm a toyota fan as I've had a Tundra for 2.5yr and have a Sequoia going on 5yrs now.

They seem to be pretty bullet proof so far.

We found very few limiteds instock anywhere. The limited is where the leather and heated seats start. My wife wanted that and she drives it the most. Upgraded trim, most electronics on the interior. The SR5 can have everything else, they can have all the interior trim upgrade packages but they wont have the leather and heated seats.
