I've been an avid Racing fan since the mid 70's. I watched the first televised Daytona 500 when Kale, Bobby, and Donny had the WWE Royal Rumble below turn three. I've built cars, raced cars, my family's business actually sponsored a Cup car in the med-late 70's. I have loved racing for decades, but........
Has anyone else just completely written off NASCAR ?
I've tried to watch a few races last year, and this year, but it's nothing but a glorified IROC series now. Everyone is pretty much running the exact same equipment, and car, which to me SUCKS ! The stage racing sucks, the luck dog rule sucks, the entire format sucks when compared to what it used to be.
Has anyone else just completely written off NASCAR ?

Been a fan since the mid 90’s but they are losing me. The wokeness. Single lug. Stage racing. There was not a noose in the Talladega garage. Even when it was proof that it was not a noose, nascar and the drivers went with the lie anyway. Nothing like watching it in person tho. Love Talladega

Amen to all the above ! and Aint it funny how a man who caused all that grief, was HANDED the race at the same tack a year later, and consistently is a middle of the pack driver get SO much attention, is on every nascar TV commercial and print Ad ?
Look at the drivers who have won more races, consistently finish better, and drive for bigger teams, yet get little to NO media coverage compared to Flubba ! It's reverse discrimination at its finest, but hey.....nascar is WOKE, they've checked the box, so it's all good......other than the fact they have lost half their fanbase, and can't even fill the stands anymore

Haven’t watched in 4 years.
They took personalities out of the sport, put them in crap cars on boring tracks, and went woke.
I couldn’t care less if I ever see another crapcar race again.
