There really aren't that many people in Sun. I only knew one person
Eta: I used to know this guy in Madisonville that dropped out of school in 5th grade. Couldn't read or anything. He quickly left the state.
He got drunk on the river with my buddy one night. Sheriff's showed up, and since he was wanted already, he threw my buddy off of the boat and took off. Sheriff's got LDWF in for backup chasing him into the rice fields. He ended up running into the sheriff boat and sinking it. He started shooting at the LDWF guys, and of course they shot back. He ran into their boat and knocked the two guys off. Proceeded to commandeer the LDWF boat and took it further back into the marsh. Ditched the boat and hid in the marsh for 3 days until he came out by Guste Island Rd by my buddy's house(the original boat owner). Stole a car from Ponchatoula and went I have no idea where. We checked everything out after he came back and told us, and he was not lying.
Also saw him try and grab an alligator once only to get his hand bitten clean through by two teeth. You could literally see through his hand. He wrapped a shirt around it and kept drinking beer with us for the rest of the night. The next morning, he put tape on the top of his hand and filled the holes up with super glue. I don't know what happened with it, but the next time I saw him it was rank as all hell. That night he had the little run in with the boats

I dated a girl from Pitkin once. There was an incident with a pool stick.

In that direction, it's the Strothers you have to worry about.

St. Helena and East Feliciana have some very unique people
I have been to many places where landowners wont kick squatters off of their land because they don't want to deal with the trouble

Madisonville always seems to have the one or two complete clusters. I know a fella very similar to the guy you are describing. Did he have a nickname?

I have literally been in the third world many times, but nothing compares to going to Zwolle.

I think we just called him Pete. No idea if that was his real name or not. He was one of the dumbest people I have ever met. Not because of the shite he did, just because he was so damn stupid
I know some crazy people from Madisonville, and they didn't want to hang around him
