Sucks for many hunting clubs as several will shut down because of high water.

Maybe it will push some deer this way....jk I hate to see people flood out and lose their place to hunt at a minimum.

I had a friend who's family owned land across the levee in Tensas , when the river came up it was awesome.

The family sold out years ago

3 River (Richard K. Yancey) WMA is still suffering from the damage locals did last time- according to the locals. Pot shooting deer on Islands.

I know some guys that hunted during it. Said it sounded like a war zone and deer were running around in circles getting shot at. I wish they would shut it down.

3 Rivers WMA has some monster deer. No doubt artificial daylight has pulled some legit Boone and Crockett bucks.

I posted the following about 3 weeks ago. LINK Now that all that snow has melted, it has to get to the Gulf. We have also had several inches of rain on top of that snow melt with more hard rain in the forecast for the West side of the Appalachians here. Mississippi River gonna keep on rising for a while, imho. Hope yall don't get flooded out, though.

Similar experience here. Road trip last few days; everything from the Ohio and Wabash Rivers, down through Tennessee and Tombigbee down to the Pearl was WAY high....
