5-10 east/se , 1’ tides, and water temps in mid to upper 70’s. Winds wed-Fri should push in lots of clean water. Looks promising.

Plan to hit Delacroix Sat and Sun. Throw top waters early and live/vodoo/Berkley Rattle shrimp under a cork after. Will post report.

Anyone else going to Delacroix/Hopedale/Shell Beach ?

Took off Friday and will probably head to Biloxi Marsh (East side). I'm sure it will be a little choppier than predicted going across, bust same as last week and found em quick & easy.
We had glass water here on Sunday, but it's been blowing hard all week since.

I'll be somewhere in the greater Venice area both days. Finally caught up at deer camp and able to see how the fishing camp is doing.

Saturday couldn’t have better fishing conditions. Also two days before a front. Should lay down a limit

I have a feeling with the front approaching the wind will be stronger than forecasted. I hope I’m wrong. Still going either way.

I literally just posted my report from last week and I think Saturday will be almost a carbon copy.

If I had to guess, Delcroix will be just as poppin as the biloxi marsh has been.

I'm in.

Looks like I'll probably hit my spots in South Lafourche, somewhere between Leeville and Golden Meadow, not sure just where yet but looking forward to it.

That refurbished public launch at Golden Meadow is nice.

Are you heading mostly to the east of the Marsh?

I’m gonna stick around the SW side of Biloxi marsh then make a loop back through hopedale. I’ve heard good things about muscle but I’ve got big trout on the mind right now

How'd you do? The Rockefellar fb group hasn't had anything positive to say about it right now.

Going to Delacroix on Monday. Light winds, good falling tide and the day before the cold front. Hope all that plays well.
Will post a report.

Bump. Anyone make it out there today? My little caught a stomach bug so I stayed in for her.

How was the fog?

I fished hopedale this morning. Fog wasn’t bad at all this morning but we weren’t at the launch till the sun was peeking up on the horizon.

Small white trout and undersized specks were easy to come by. We must’ve caught at least 60 undersized fish. The tide was falling hard all morning but by 10am or soo the wind was really starting to pick up.

Ended up with 10 keeper specks, 1 sheepshead and 1 bass. Beautiful day to be out there.

We did very well. Wind was worse than forecasted as expected but not bad at daylight. No fog.

97 specs and at least as many white trout. A shark and a few reds. Little hammers had a hell of a good time today.
