My father had a renter past due on rent. The guy "tried" to make it right by leaving an old champion bass boat with equally old motor and trailer to my father in lieu of rent. Boat isn't stolen, but we have no paperwork and tracking the renter down to sign off is impossible now.

St.Vincent de Paul won't take it without paperwork. I don't want to abandon it anywhere, trying to do the right thing....

Sink it

Or park it on a public road and call and report it abandoned

Post it on Craigslist in the "free" section and put it somewhere visible at the end of the driveway.

That boat will be gone within 24 hours.

Load it with a bunch of weapons and take it for a cruise.

You can try to go to a justice if the peace? Present the evidence and possibly get a court ordered Title

Can you report it abandoned like a vehicle and then after a certain amount of time you are able to get it retitled?

if you do this, just make sure its deep enough where nobody hits the thing.

Try Boat Angels or those type of donation spots. Saw one for sale here locally in LC without title I think by one of those groups.

But I guarantee you can sell it to some guy down da bayou for cheap without title.

Tow it offshore. Fill with tannerite. Bring your rifles. See how many shots it takes before it sinks. Film it and post here

I did this with an old ladder on Facebook market place. I posted free and you pick it up. Left it in my front yard. Had 20 requests for it in 1 hour. In 90 minutes it was gone.

one of my favorite sports is seeing how fast people can come pick up free stuff from my driveway. Hell, I've had people come get TVs that I told them repeatedly did not work.
