WHy not?

Add some SS Narrow and at least a rear locker I would imagine would make it a formidable machine.

The entry-level model is around $16k-$18k, but yes, they look like a 10

Honest answer?

It needs a bigger motor and is overpriced.

A restored 1.6 swapped samurai or sidekick is 10-12k and is lighter, more power, better aftermarket, more reliable, street legal, and climate controlled.

If this thing was a direct copy of the old jeep, I'd be all over it.

My grandfather retired his in the late 80s after years and years of service. But this isn't that

And those expecting the level of off-road prowess will be dissatisfied.

That's all.

10-4 Thanks. My Tacoma would make an arse of this thing anyhow.

Honest question here, what does "not street legal" mean? Because you can get a license plate for a golf cart to drive on the streets. But I know that's as a Low Speed Vehicle, could you not get one of these as a LSV also?

Honest answer. It goes too fast to be an LSV. It isn't legal to plate in Louisiana.

Can it be done? Yes. But you have to know the loopholes to exploit.

Hell, I take my side by side on i10 all the time.

ETA: and I get a kick out of the downvotes when I say that

I just recently bought a 2006 Jeep Wrangler with the longer wheelbase for 9000. Yes I had to put new brakes, tires and register it. I also spent a little on fixing a few odds and ends on it. I'm in for about 12000 give or take. What in the world would be the advantage of this Indian machine over an older Jeep??

Its brand new and will last forever. If you're not worried about street legal than it's the shite

This seems absurd. My initial point was I understand the idea of not driving it from home to camp, but not being able to drive it 2-3 miles from camp to the gas station or buddy’s place down the county road is absolutely absurd. Getting in an accident in this Mahindra compared to a golf cart would be night and day better in the Mahindra.

A cop is much less likely to pull you over in one of these than a 4 wheeler...
