Sen. Pat Connick, who voted for the concealed carry bill during the regular session, was among three senators who said that they had changed their minds. Connick said he spoke with law enforcement in his area that were in opposition to overturning the veto.

That was all part of the plan. They knew Bel would veto it so they voted for it, so yall would see that they " tried."
Never in 50 years did they anticipate a special veto session.

Reminds me of the Republican senators that spent 6 years passing bills to repeal Obamacare knowing Obama was just going to veto it every time. Then as soon as Trump got in office and said send him the bill so he can sign it, a few of them flip flopped and killed it.

Funny how these public servants change "their" minds. IMO they should be doing the bidding of their constituents, wonder if they changed their minds also?

I have the mindset that they are all scumbags. That way I never get disappointed in their actions. I talked to my state rep about the veto session. Basically they are all a bunch of pussies and are scared of the Governor. I gave him some studies to use from the Rand corporation that showed Shall issue CCW and constitutional carry results were inconclusive on increasing firearm homicides.

Run his arse out of office. Show up to every public engagement and appearance and loudly let him know what a gutless turd he is.

Franklin Foil is another one of the four traitors that has to go. Much like JBE, he loves to hide behind his uniform and hope you don't notice he has no honor.
On his Facebook page, he has a picture of him wearing his uniform standing next to Bill Cassidy with a shiteating grin. That should just about tell you all you need to know.

Traitors PERIOD
I agree they are! but lets assume they arent…think about that. They voted for something and now regret it? So you are an elected official to pass laws and you question yourself AFTER the fact? They clearly cant handle this responsibility.

When I took my concealed carry class 6 years ago in BTR, I was terrified at the thought of my fellow students carrying loaded weapons. Most of them had no prior knowledge of and displayed no competence with handguns. The limited amount of knowledge that was imparted to us was better than nothing though.
This bill is a terrible idea only a POS politician would come up with..

Your reasoning is a terrible argument. The classes wont stop and there are benefits to getting a permit.
This just allowed law abiding citizens to conceal carry. A criminal isnt going to follow the law anyway, so this only impacts law abiding citizens.
Its idiots like you that keep giving away freedoms for no reason. Im terrified that you are allowed to vote.
