Lost dog in the Mississippi Delta; FOUND! Thank you everyone!

This is probably a long shot but here goes nothing. My black lab ran off near Satartia Ms on New Year’s Day afternoon and I can’t find him. If anyone sees a black lab with an orange collar and hanging around Ms hwy 3 in between Sataria and Yazoo City Ms his name is Sam.
ETA: None of the trackers around Vicksburg and Yazoo City will come for a dog. However if anyone hunts in the Ms delta and needs help finding a deer Steven Thomas of Delta Drone Services has an awesome drone and is a to notch guy. He has spent the past three nights helping us and only charged us for his gas. I highly recommend him.
ETA2: Steven put the word out on Facebook and someone eventually saw his post and hooked me up with the person that had been taking care of him since Tuesday. I am on my way to get Sam right now! Thank you everyone for the support and good wishes.

There’s a company i saw on facebook offering thermal drones to locate missing pets. It was located around Baton Rouge and surrounding areas.

I would imagine there are some guys doing the same service in that area and if you call once of them then they probably have or know some of the guys running drones in that area

I have put in a request on the Mississippi blood tracking Facebook page and they are trying to get a guy from Vicksburg to contact me.

I had a chocolate lab run off for 8 days one time. We were in the front yard for less than a minute one evening and when I turned around he was gone. He somehow crossed the interstate and two major highways. He was headed towards Arkansas before someone recognized him from a facebook post that had been shared.

A male? Proabaly caught a wiff. I’d search upwind. Mine did it once, looked like a wild animal (in the eyes) when I caught him. I searched up wind. Good luck.

Hope you find your dog. Try to avoid the downtown Satartia rush hour traffic. I’ve seen it gridlocked for thirty seconds or so between the two churches and the store. I love that old store.

Is the store still open? I know it’s changed hands a couple times. I ate probably 80% of my summer lunches there in the late 2000’s. Worked on a farm down there.
Anyway, if that store is still open, that’s the first place I’d ask.
There’s also a guy that lives directly across from the Dixie Farms Rd turnoff that trains duck dogs. Barry something. He might know of somebody.
Eta: A thought about Satartia traffic. I got pulled over for rolling through the 4 way stop at the bridge one time. No ticket, just a scolding.

He ran off from the camp house. It was 21 degrees last night and supposed to be that cold again tonight and it’s supposed to rain tomorrow. I know labs are built for the cold and wet but for that long?
