Me thinks your mechanic wears panties. Everything is going to have a crossmember to deal with- I understand the Rize unit is more involved, but Jeez.
I looked at Rize's website- it looks like pricey gear. I find it very hard to believe that they did such a poor job of engineering this thing that you'd have poor spline engagement from the output shaft into the transfer case. I would call them and ask for advice on that.
I strongly encourage you to take a trip over to Pirate4x4 and enquire about your lift in the Dodge section. You wil be OT flamed for a few posts, but then they will help. Or, you may be better off in the General Tech section.

I just wanted to say thanks for all the people who offered advice or posted comments on his Facebook page. Special thanks to KR and his buddy who offered some valuable info on who to contact there. Once I found out the DA and some other info it helped get the ball rolling. I just received the money via PayPal transer.

You might be the only one of the probably 30 people he has ripped off that got their money back. I'd still follow up with the DA because no doubt that fraud is gonna do it to the next person.

My TJ was all bolt on. I browsed but never thought about posting. I saw what they did to non custom 50K project posters. Great website but man are they harsh.

I also just want to say i got scammed out of $3,500
I didnt know about this thread til i did some research. I found his listings on ebay bought a garage carport for $3500 we talked on the phone he seemed like a honest guy like he seemed legit a few days later he tells me he dropped his phone in the water when he was fishing and that he will be getting replacement in a few days well a few passes by and i try to call and contact him the phone is disconnected and i email him and he tells me sorry for the delay his brother just died and he been out of town with his family so after that he just kept making excuse after excuse. I hope someone tracks this guy down and gets whats coming to him. I cant wait til the cops catch him and throw away the key. I talked to another person who got scammed and he told me this guy owns a few different companies names as well. Karma is going to get him
