200 yard Texas heart shot on a boar running in a wheat field with a 30.06, pole axed his arse, humped up then went arse over head in the same stride...

Longest kill shot I've had was 110 yds with 30-06 (Zebra in Zimbabwe)
Longest deer has been ~75 yds
I want to get more comfortable with longer shots but probably will never shoot farther than 200 yds

Right at 300 yards with a .270wsm. 130 grain nosler ballistic tip. Dropped her. At my new place, I have a stand that has visibility out to 410 yards. Gonna try and get one at that range next year.

372 yards - white tail about 2 hours north of Calgary. Late evening hunting a power line right of way out of a box blind with about a foot of snow on the ground. Shot several deer on our lease in the 280 to 330 range. Longest shot I have taken and killed an elk at was right at 350 in Colorado. All of these with my Weatherby .300 Mag. 6.5 x 18 Leupold scope.
Shot Javelina on our lease over 600 yards out.

365 across a field with a .270 Weatherby. Only deer I’ve ever killed.
I was 12, and after a long, unsuccessful hunt out on the stand, dad and great uncle wanted to walk into the camp and hit the Beam hard without me. There was a big field adjacent to the camp with a tree line in the distance. Dad gave me the gun, sat me a chair next to the barbed wire fence, and pointed out a tree in the distance. He said you can shoot anything left of the tree (had a youth doe tag also in Alabama, so I could shoot anything). Don’t shoot anything to the right, it’s too far. They never expected me to see anything, but it would keep me occupied until dark.
Right at dusk, a deer walked out. To this day, it was still the biggest deer I’ve seen (in my mind, spoiler, it wasn’t). I didn’t know at the time, but me and Dad weren’t on the same page at which tree he was pointing at. Right before dark, I put the scope on him, raised it a good bit off the back like dad taught me on long shots, and let it rip. I saw the deer drop, and while I was whooping, dad and great uncle came screaming out the camp basically in their long john skivvies and half in the tank.
Told them I hit the deer and where it was, and dad immediately said, there’s no way you hit that deer that far. He couldn’t see anything down on the binoculars. I convinced them I did, so they fired up the 4-wheeler. The whole time my dad kept saying don’t get your hopes up. We got out to the spot I said the deer was, and nothing. I was destroyed. After about 30 minutes of looking in the field, I heard my Uncle shout, “I’ve got blood.” 30 minutes later we found a button buck about 100 yards inside the tree line. Everyone else was pissed at the button buck, but Dad had a proud son that day.

All shot many years ago w/ a 14" Contender in 6.5 JDJ w/ 120 gr Nosler BT handloads. All distances confirmed w/ a "Ranging Rangematic" (optical rangefinder from back in the day):
325 yds, mule deer in NM using backpack and bipod for rest. Shot was a little back so had to make a finishing shot at 175 yds.
275 yds, doe pronghorn antelope in WY, using bipod and backpack for rest.
225 yds, buck pronghorn in WY, using backpack on a chest high boulder for a rest.
Laser range:
I killed one prairie dog at 425 yds w/ a 15" Remington XP 100 handgun in 22 Rem Bench Rest. Numerous other pd's in the 350 yd range w/ the 22 BR as well as a 15" barreled XP handgun in 6mm Rem BR.

654yrds, 7mm ultra mag 140gr Nosler partition . Swarovski rangefinder /scope TDS reticle. Shot over it on a pipeline, and the deer didn’t move, it actually looked where the bullet hit. Thought I had everything worked out, and did, but I didn’t hold well enough. Luckily, it gave me another shot, and just held a little bit lower, hit good, and deer just spun around 360 and dropped. Oh, and it was a doe, with DMAP tag in Southern Arkansas, so wasn’t that much pressure, just seeing If I could make that shot at distance. The main problem I had with the shot was low magnification. At that distance with 9 power, dang crosshairs cover up most of the deer...
