Get it. Great price. I've owned LCs. They are IMO the best all around vehicle on earth. They are built to survive for 25 years in the world's toughest environments. 3/4 ton build. You cannot go wrong.

I like the red one in the back. My wife's next car will most likely be a Land Cruiser. She wants a new one though. I'll wait until they have a sale. They have in the past had them $10k off sticker. Even then that number still hurts.

That's a really nice build. Hopefully the picture with the TRD wheels is an after, because those 20" black ones are just bad. Is that an aftermarket rear bumper painted to match?

The red one is a '76 Fj-40. Complete frame-off restore. It looks better than from the factory. It's CHERRY.
A new Cruiser is too rich for my blood.

How about some more late model LC/LX porn:
Those ARB and Slee bumpers look really sharp. Of the rigs posted, 5 and 8 would be my ideal. I like retaining the factory wheels.

I've never seen one on sale, I'd imagine that doesn't happen too often.

The new one, well, the size is perfect for her. It will last forever and I'm not sure anything has a better re-sale.

From 1999 to 2007 it was. In 2008, with the new body style, it became the LX 570.
Ok. Saw an LX '08 470 online. Looks the part but was unsure.

'77 FJ40 for $24,900 in Tallahassee.

shite, didn't realize the Lexus LX570 won the SCORE Stock Full class championship in 2010, its first full season of racing, and the Baja 1000 back to back in '12 &'13. Pretty damn impressive.

The engine’s completely stock except for a custom air intake that relocates a larger air filter into the passenger side floor for dust protection. We also had TRD engineers remove 65 lbs. of wiring and sensors that were not needed. The original ECM computer was still used however to stay in the class rules.

We utilize all stock suspension parts for instance upper and lower A-arms, bushing and the solid axle 5 link in the rear. All bushings are stock. The only change in suspension are the actual shocks.

I had an ARB on a 100 series. They are beast.

The LC/LX 99-07 is the most popular cruiser platform going right now. The Dallas/Houston TX suburbia folks are jacking the prices through the roof. Check out cruiser parts, etc. The 4.7L is bulletproof along with it's drivetrain.
The parts on both are completely interchangeable except rear suspension, header, and a few optional entertainment modules.
The LX is actually the better option because it doesn't have Land Cruiser on it, and the regular family guy doesn't know what he has.

Of the hundreds of Toyotas I've looked at in auctions, I've seen 2 that had the sticker under the hood verifying it had been changed.
I guess that blows Toyotas recommendation of changing it every 100,000 miles out of the water, because I've seen more Toyotas than I can count with 200,000 miles plus with the original timing belt.

and be disappointed. the interiors on them are horrendous.
Basically, they are Tundra SUVs

My mom had a 94 model and that thing was a beast. Kept it 13 years.

Toyota needs to get rid of the Sequoia and simply make the 4Runner the median between the Land Cruiser and the Highlander.
