....with fishing package and the '21 175hp Mercury Pro XS four stroke. Pretty excited. Anyone have any experience with this model Tahoe or Mecury powerhead? Just curious.

Nothing constructive to add other than this would be the best day of boat ownership. Enjoy, it's all downhill from here.

Gosh, that’s one ugly setup. I couldn’t rock that. I’m sure it’s functional, but no damn way.

Just curious, did you test ride it before you bought it? On choppy water?

I would have if he’d posted a photo...but I had to cut and paste Tahoe deck boat and do all the work myself. A fish-n-ski had a bastard child with a pontoon boat.

Guessing you’re not a seasoned fisherman and needed a dual duty boat to satisfy wifey/kids. It should serve you well IF you don’t plan to broaden your fishing horizons. Congrats on the new whip, use it in good health!

B - Bend
O - Over
A - And
T - Take it

Lol! I may not use it like I want to, but glad I have it when I do!

I test drove one and I didn’t like the ride at all. They are nice and spacious though. For cruising lakes pulling tubes and just pleasure boating I would have gotten it even with the poor ride. I use my boat for 70% fishing so it didn’t really set up for my use case. The 175 pushed it good though and didn’t feel under powered at all. the deck boat platform is nice for kids and wife for those who want space like a party barge but more speed and function. It’s versatile for sure. GL

Congratulations on the new boat. Not sure about the fishing side, but the recreational side with the family will fit the bill greatly. Use it as much as you can! A guy around here has an older 215 with an I/O 4.3 and he runs the snot out of it. Loads it up with 6-8 kids and runs it all day, all weekend. The guy has definitely gotten his money’s worth. And the layout makes it really easy to get around in.

Broke it in today with wife on Blind River. The '21 4 stroke 175HP Mercury is very impressive. The boat planed very quickly. With a full tank of 45 gallons and the both us the max speed was 55 MPH. Very happy with this purchase. It maneuvers very well.

Not to be snarky, but the Speedo is wrong. If you were running GPS, I’d be shocked.

Just can’t see it hitting 55 with a 175.....

Truth. As much as I enjoyed taking my family out fishing this weekend, I got back to the ramp with a broken gas gauge and a sunburn. I swear, every third time I take the boat out something breaks. But given the chance, I'd buy the boat again.
