EJW has been out if surgery about an hour now. It was successful in the aspect that they didn't open the neck and were able to suture back the tongue, but did a small graft patch. They didn't have to put the breathing tube back in, and he's in recovery. Hopefully he can update more himself later this evening.

Somehow I have missed this post the last few days. Complications suck but glad to hear that things are trying to shake out. Will add EJW to my prayers.

Been a rough ride since midnight. I thought I was a goner for sure.
Been fighting off some infections that caused my fever to spike sharply. If was convulsing like crazy and honestly believe had my wife not been here I may not have made it.
Nurse was like. Hmm , he do this often? She called in prescription Tylenol with the doctor. Nurse care sucked past last night. The care last week wa awesome.

Went thru this last trip to the hospital. Though my heart was going to explode! They had to shoot me up big time with morphine to knock me out.
