Still dealing with fever but feeling much better than last night. I've got a log grade one now. I takes forever to get anything done at a hospital.
I'm yelling ya, i can't recall ever having violent convulsions from a fever before. It was especially concerning with a fresh sutures and skin graft tongue trying not to bite off. I was completely overtaken. Scary shite and I'm a big kid.

Probably from the bacteria dying as the antibiotics start working. Hopefully, it'll only get better from here.

Doc just came in and said my blood cell counts looked good. My urinalysis looked good. Chest X-ray was good and my neck sutures look good so their still trying to figure it out.

Soc just came Back in and said my white cell count was elevated which was signs for infection.

No doubt they covered you emperically as soon as you hit the door. Look over at your IV, I'll bet you there's something with the name vamcomycin, rocephin, or zosyn hanging. It might have killed all traceable bacteria that was causing your infection before they had a chance to culture it.
