That’s happend to me with both my kids. This morning the big bad 13 yo who wants to only hunt by himself bricked on one of the biggest deer we have on camera. 125 yards, broadside, air ball. Then he couldn’t even tell me exactly where the deer was standing, like I’ve pounded in his head 1,000 times. I found the deers tracks 25 yards from where he thought it was. Little bastards smh

We are laughing about it all day. I keep having his little brother ask him questions concerning left or right.

I’m going to get his little brother punched in the mouth

Back at it for evening hunt but not sure how good it’ll be. They cut timber this summer off a patch adjacent to my hunting area. Apparently the logging company chose today to come back and do some cleanup to get ready to plant. Maybe they’ll spook something up. I’m sure the deer out here are used to that kind of noise.

Had a great day running, but we never found the big buck. Not me, but our group wound up killing 2.

St James
65ish and a WNW breeze
270 on a Pipeline

Hunting the property I grew up deer hunting on with powpow and uncle. Only shooting 1 doe a year on my property, so coming smoke a nanny over here if possible.

Same stand where I shot my biggest buck and also the same stand I fell from when I was 11. Nice and dry over here too

The only time I had kidney stones hunting never crossed my mind. You're tougher than I am.

So, I started to pass it about a month ago and that is when the god almighty pain is, seems it has got hung up in the plumbing somewhere and while it does not have that intense pain it still causes “issues” which I was having all night, have a scan set up early next week and then will get them taken care of very soon after
