Ladder stand on fence row between two crp fields

Seen 14 so far. The last spike made it an even 7 bucks to 7 does. Was one really nice 3 yr old 8 pt that got the heart pumping a little.

It’s a damn fine morning to be in a tree

Franklin Parish, box stand on a small plot in a CRP.
Oldest son on the 6.5 Creedmore looking for a solid buck. Not the ideal stand but I have both boys and chose based on stand size.

Fortunately haven’t passed on any does.

21 Degrees Wind out of south at 4mph.
Sitting in my chair sipping fresh coffee and living vicariously thru you fellows. THANK YOU!

Might have to go online and get my landowners tag just in case this fellow wants to look in the kitchen window again.

Get the little upright buddy. Plenty of heat and uses way less propane.

I live in Shreveport these days but I grew up in rural Rapides Parish

I come down to hunt the family lease on occasion

We have my bro, Dad, nephew, niece, SIL and myself lined up on this pipeline this morning. I’m the only one not shooting does and of course I get all the does

I shoot my does in October so I’m not tempted to shoot them in November. Got 2 in the freezer already.

Bucks are starting to cruise. SIL had a nice 8 slip past her this morning.

We have entirely too many does. Between 3 people this morning we watched AT LEAST 25 different does in a 200 acre area

Back for the evening. Not quite as cold. Wilkinson Co. Sitting behind some trees and camo netting in the woods on a hot oak tree hoping to grab a buck with the Xbow. Beautiful day.
