Saw a couple deer this morning. Trail cams from last night didn’t have much on them either. When the temperature plummets that fast it puts the deer in shock for 24 hours. The wind didn’t help either but I really think the main thing is temperature. My line of thinking is they will all be up and moving near sunset but they may stay beaded. I’d say without question tomorrow will be amazing.

Did any of you hear many shots like you would’ve suspected there to be the last morning of modern firearms? I didn’t.

Agree with your assessment and add that I think they’ll be moving late this afternoon...which presents a conundrum re Saints game. Regarding shots, heard only one...which is far fewer than normal.

Didn’t hear many shots either but also didn’t see a deer until 9:30. Then more action at 10:30. After the neighbors decided to go do whatever the frick they were doing I left. Had 3 does in the middle of the cow pasture on my way out.

Think when the clouds rolled out they got up and started moving

Climber over a food plot in the woods.
26 degrees with a few inches of snow.
Bundled up like the Michelin man.
Wind finally died so hopefully they move this afternoon

Back on stand in West Fel, lock-on over long peanut shaped foodplot with corn feeder. Lots of daylight does on camera, a few ratchet bucks too. Hoping a shooter emerges from adjacent pine thicket.
Plan to sit a couple of hours, then back to camp for Saints game.

Got back on the stand at 2. Direct tv password giving me fits so haven’t been able to watch the game. Neighbors left so won’t have them messing up my hung again. Didn’t see anything in their garbage that makes me think they killed. Also no empty feed bags so they may not come back for the final week of primitive. And yes I dig in their trash

Witch’s titty is a little warmer
Same box between small plot and big green field
7mm mag

Seen the arse end of a deer this am again.
They have a hell of a path where they cross a lane at end of plot, but can cross in <2 sec
It’s grown up but I stepped on dead brush and broke off some limbs so I can see the lane better

Do foxes scare deer away? I just had two running around and pretty frequently see one. I enjoy watching them hunt so I don't see a need to get rid of them unless they mess with deer.

I wouldn't think they mess with deer
