Yeah, same doe came out in back end of field the hunt before and we were like laurel and hardy trying to make it happen. Lol but this time we had a plan laid out and it was like fine precision.

Last day of modern rifle here and I expected to hear way more shots this morning. Only heard one way off. Saw 4 at last light yesterday so maybe they moved all night.

I’ve decided I’ll watch the saints game in the stand this evening from my phn. Just wondering how late I should sit this morning. Might sit till noon then come back at 2
Had a small 7 point come out chasing a doe. Was acting real nervous looking behind him. fricking neighbors decide to drive down the property line headed to the back of their property and spooked them away. I need more land so I don’t have to deal with this shite

Back at camp for breakfast. Will head back out at 1130 for a few hours...on the fence for afternoon hunt and Saints game on phn or come back to the camp at 2, fire up the pit, and crack open a beer. Leaning toward hunting. Passed many small bucks this year...we have a few shooters that we think are still alive...ever the optimist.
