Prices weren’t anything special, but the selection was.

Prices will be 4% cheaper at Simmons vs TP if using a card.

I don’t get out very often. Honest question, is there a larger privately owned hunting store in the country than Simmons ?

Not that I'm aware of. Probably is. Big country. But that's a big damn store and they do a ton online.

Folks in south Louisiana don’t consider north Louisiana to be LOUISIANA. So, participation in your thread may be light.

Page 2 and not one mention of Lindsey Simmons? She is a smoke-show! Even if it wasn't a great store, it would be worth shopping there just for the chance to bump into her.

Simmons and TP both are solid Go-to's in North LA. Honey Hole fits the bill for fishing needs as well.

We don't consider what they hunt down there as 'deer' so it's mutual.

Simmons is the best by a long shot. Used to go all the time when I hunted in NELA.

Love Simmons. Recently moved to Tyler, TX and there’s a place here called Superior Outfitters that is huge, price-matches, and carries an enormous inventory of firearms, ammo and optics.
Highly recommend and they have an online presence as well. Supposed to be the largest store of its kind in East TX

I love that place. If there's a better one I want to visit it

There’s not one better in the state & trying to compare any of them to Simmons is a joke.

If you're talking about the actual retail store size, Simmon's is a good bit bigger than Mack's or Roger's. It's the " largest independent sporting goods store in the South". Also home to the largest selection of 7XL waders.

Next time I’m in there going to try them on to see how many 205# me’s can fit in a 7xl pair.
Bought a left hand m2 there years ago and they had 4-5 to choose from. Handed them my license and cc, they made the buying process super simple.
Jeff needs to move around more and eat less.

A buddy of mine tired his luck with her one time when we stopped in on the way to hunt in Arkansas. She was nice about it but she shot him down.

He simply asked if there was a “larger privately owned hunting store in the country than Simmon’s”. I got downvoted for posting Mack’s and Roger’s. But Simmon’s operation is 80,000 square feet, Mack’s is 125,000 square feet, Roger’s is 200,000 square feet.

The actual sq ft of the store you walk around and shop in for Mack's and Roger's is 40k and 60k respectively. Simmons is 80k. But since you goggled their size I'm sure you knew that. I think that's how Simmon's is able to make their claim of being the largest.
