Same as salt life, no shave November, etc. When something gets so big that people can't do something without being associated with these kinda of things, it tends to rub people the wrong way.

One of the great things about getting older, you care less and less about this kind of stuff. You like what you like regardless of label, brand or association and don't really care too much what other people think about it.
Duck Dynasty is fairly well received around here because folks are smarter than some give them credit for and see the show for what it is. I think it gets more heat on this website than I've seen elsewhere.

I'm annoyed with the obsession with the show. I see they're label on damn near everything now. Can't fault them for making as much now as they can though
I do have two huge complaints though:
1. Their calls were hard to get for a while and I was trying to get a duck picker/ their prices went up.
2. The old show on outdoor channel was hilarious. The acting on the ae show is unbearable. This " reality" TV is purely scripted which makes me unable to watch it

It has to be scripted for a flow to the theme for each episode. But from what I've heard, their personalities and their lifestyle is genuine.

I also have a grow a beard during November, sport a salt life buff around my neck 24/7 and have hundreds of mojos even though I duck hunt maybe once every two years.
