If you get a Ford make sure your insurance comes with roadside assistance

I think the truck looks nice, but everyone wants to call it a RAM and it’s still a dodge in my book.
Your book is old, crusty and out of date.

they're all nice when they're new. Whats it gonna be like in 2 or 3 years+?

I read a Car & Driver review on the Ram they drove for 50,000 miles. Their only complaint was the radio/sound system would sometimes not work for no apparent reason.

The Ram interior is light years ahead. If you want to buy a Ford I'd wait until next year because a full redesign is on the way. I own a 2019 Silverado LTZ and I shopped around every vehicle before purchasing. The interior on the Silverado isn't as nice as the Ram but I love the heads up display and 6.2L V8.

Ram and it's not even close.

BUT

Since you are looking for v6 then the Ford with the 2.7 might be a better fit for you.

Do y’all do any towing with the RAM V8? I’ll be in the market some time next year and still debating whether I need a diesel or not... the biggest thing I tow is my bay boat, which absolutely kicks my Chevy 1500’s arse right now.

Look at a RAM 2500 with the 6.4 now with the 8 speed it would be a perfect truck for your situation..

I’ve had 3 Fords and 2 Toyotas. Have driven and rode in all makes. Just bought a 2019 F-150 Lariat from Lamarque in Kenner. Beat Robinson by a mile. Jimmy was a great salesman.

If I totaled my 2019 Ram I’d buy another one without hesitation.

I bought a Sierra SLE w/ the 5.3L last Friday. Rides great, haven't pulled my boat with it yet. On the HWY I'm averaging 25 MPGs. Crew Cab is huge, plenty room for 5 adults.

Do some research on resale values of all the trucks and that should help you make a choice. A couple of brands do not hold value well at all.

I keep seeing their ads on my Facebook feed. '20 Laramie with the 12" screen, leather, sunroof and hemi for 45. Thinking hard about trading in my 19 bighorn.

There prices are really good online. I’m sure they may give a lil more in person.

I just traded in my Ecodiesel for a Tundra SR5 TSS. It doesn't have much tech, but I figure it should last me a long time. I plan on keeping 10 years or so which is the biggest reason I chose it.

The notion that a Tundra is the only truck that can last 10 years is rather amusing!

I have an 06 Sierra with a 175K miles on it. I've changed a few things, nothing major, on it that I did myself. The 5.3L V8 has been great. I would not even be thinking about getting a new truck soon if it were a 4x4.
