I did this commercially for 3 years and Ex-Mark Lazer got the job done every day. That an Shindiawa weed eaters is all you need

I've had a Gravely commercial for 5 years. Never had a problem. I cut about 5 acres with it. Takes a little less than an hour and 1/2.

I would go with an X-Mark.

The best I have ever used was a John Deere diesel zero turn. Damn thing hauled arse and you couldn't bog it down. Only drawback was it weighed a ton. You couldn't cut if it was wet.
I spend most of my time on a commercial scag. It's bull strong and comfortable, but it burns soooooooooo much gas it's unreal.

John Deere. I bought a 36" in 2002 for $3300 and sold it 6 years later for $2100. This was a walk behind but they hold there value well and are easy to resell.

Got a Scag thats 4 years old. I've changed the oil a couple times and hosed it off once. I mistreat pretty bad, even bush hogged with it a couple times cutti'n pasture. Changed the blades out and my wife's on it now cutti'n. No problems at all.

Scagg or Xmark are the two best mowers. With either one you will have a quality product.

Worked daily with the same scag for 7 years without any problems. Only work was routine maintenance and blade sharpening.
