Totally serious. When they're only eating grass and not fish early on they taste pretty good. Not as good as duck, but I still shoot them and eat em.

With just the gizzards, or meat as well? We shot a couple one time out of sheer boredom and marinated the breast for a solid 24 hours, then fried them. It tasted like eating a piece of fried mud. Maybe I am going about cooking our web toed friends all wrong though.

I know definitely the meat, but I didn't make it. If I had to guess, the gizzards were in there too, as a coonass Cajun made it for us.

Ducks without question

Not really sure on this. It would definately be with a flyrod. The three would be trout, tarpon, or bonefish. Never caught a bonefish but was close.
