Like how much would it cost to replace? Just the tackle that is in your box and not all tackle you own.

I'm a minimalist with a box that fits in a backpack but it would be $80 easy if I had to replace it all. I know some baws' suitcase boxes must have upwards of $300-400 of tackle in them.

+ post your address and where you keep your tackle box.

I fish out of kayak but I do have a salt setup and then a fresh setup. I've narrowed each down to just a few baits I go to. All in less than $100.

I usually just bring a plastic bag with some new plastics and terminal tackle I just bought and maybe a box of hard baits depending on conditions. I don't need much.

I fish from a kayak and have entirely too much crap but am working on downsizing what I bring. I'll have 1 or 2 boxes that I bring along that might have about $50 or so. If I bring all my stuff, like I do currently, probably around $500 or so.

Well I don't have a box. I have a big bag. If I had to make a rough estimate I'd say $500+

I replace everything in it, I would guess into the hundreds.

To replace the things I actually use, probably about 25.

Don't have a box. I have trays and big boxes. Two of said boxes have over 80 packs of soft plastics. One freshwater one salt water. 25-30 hard plastics for each. Then trays upon trays of terminal tackle for everything from bream to snapper. I takes which boxes/trays depending on where I'm going. Would say I'm kinda a tackle freak. If I see someone catching on something. Not only will I have it but I'll have 3. I guess somewhere in the 2-3k range to restock from scratch.

Saltwater - not too much. Maybe $220-300
Freshwater - little more probably $550-600
Fly fishing tackle bag that hold 6 reels ( including reels) probably $3000-4000 depending on the type of fishing.

In my case it's a sling pack not a box holding my fly boxes. If I didn't tie my own flies (plenty do not) they'd be 1.50 to 3.00 each. I have 5 fly boxes that hold 168 flies each. 3 are full, 2 probably half full.

So, if I'd bought them all it would be about $1500.

Oh, this isn't counting reels and stuff.
