No, but my nephews are both Eagle Scouts and still can't tie a fricking fishing knot. Wtf do they teach the boys? Didn't they originate everybody has to be equal, no one get creative and find the edge? So really, one can conclude Boy Scouts of America are responsible for the downfall of this once great Republic.

Maybe your nephews aren't very smart...

Eagle Scout here and actually just left little bro's Eagle Scout ceremony. I know that my parents are glad to be finished.

Not here. I was way too busy with sports to be worried about the boy scouts.

We camped, hunted and fished since I was born. Don't know what the scouts could have added.

Only thing I could have gained from Boy Scouts is some knot tying.

I lettered in 3 sports too, but I just stayed busy. I'm glad that my parents forced me to, because there were definitely times when I didn't want to go to a meeting, do service hours, or work on my eagle project.

I loved it but there were many times when I was the only one that showed up so it eventually died out.

My son don't have time to be in anything like that but if he did I would like him to.

Life Scout when Troop 180 Calcasieu Area Council disbanded.

Scoutmaster was my Dad's hunting buddy when they were younger. Learned a lot in that crew...not your typical scout troop. Hell, I think there was only a couple of us with uniforms.

More outlaws than Boy Scouts....but learned a lot...good times that's for sure.

Vicksburg National Military Park is one LONG arse Walk..I know that. 15.5 miles....only 14 but we had to walk 1.5 back to get lunch. Good place for merit badge though!

I got kicked out within a year...Hitching a ride on a trail then selling goods out of the quartermaster tent.
