6.5 hours.

I’d rather drive that far to hunt family land where I’m guaranteed does every year and a decent buck about every 5 years than deal with the unknown, dog hunters, poachers and developing a lease in south MS. I also get to spend a few days with my family, which is invaluable. From the house I grew up in to gate at the farm is 10 minutes at most.

2 hrs. Just north of Monticello, MS. The drive doesn't bother me. Staying south of Jackson was a non negotiable before we bought the property.

Deer lease, 4 hours. I'm a newb who started looking for leases late. This year, I'm going to find something closer. 4 hours is a major PITA.

Fishing/duck camp, 1:45-2 there....but 2.5-3 coming back bc of the MS river bridge

2hrs to the deer lease here in GA.

7hrs to camp/land/duck hunting in NE LA...which is where I’d prefer to spend all my time. I’m 2-3 yrs out from my youngest boy being old enough to go, which will open up it back up for me.

I walk to most of my stands from the house. I have a couple that I take the cart to.
