Damn this is badass. I want to take December to April off one year and live out of one of these traveling the Rockies and Cascades skiing, just chasing powder.

Here are a few more photos. Yes, I can stand up in it at 6’2. Ceiling height was a main concern for me so I kept materials thin where possible (e.g. cedar ceiling planks at 1/4”). I still have 1.5” of polyiso insulation under the vinyl floors and 1” above the ceiling.

The head is a portapotty under one of the side seats. We had considered building a full bathroom but I didn’t want to get into heavier plumbing and the problems that can arise under freeze conditions. We’re using the van for camping so a nearby tree will be the most common bathroom for us.
In case you’re wondering we did build a shower on top of the van using ABS pipe. We can add pressure to it using a compressor or bike pump.
