We spent the time to site it in today at 50 yards. She was dead on after a few shots.

We went this afternoon to a box stand behind my sister’s wedding venue (ha) in Ruston, about 5 pm a good doe walked out and little girl made it count at 120 yards! Great shot, the doe fell right on the spot.

She was shaking after she realized she hit it. I told her that feeling will always be with her. I’m happy as can be for her.

Forever, bro. I can honestly say it made me happier than any deer I’ve ever taken. Sitting back and watching it all unfold was amazing.

Someone should study girls who share things like this with their fathers over time. I would be willing to bet that they have fewer unplanned pregnancies, substance abuse and arrests than the general population as they age.

Wholesome.

Awesome.

Ironically my oldest has no interest in guns. He has shot cannons, machineguns, suppressed guns and we have access to a lot. He MAY have enjoyed shooting the cannon but he has ZERO interest in these old machine guns.

There is no doubt in my mind. The girls I grew up with that hunted and fished with their fathers turned out to be highly successful, independent individuals.

Whoever downvoted this is an a-hole. Congrats to you and your daughter. My youngest hunted with me for years. She’s a mom now. Man I miss those days

A) EF Hutton saw her on “his” public land.

B) EF Hutton heard she was getting an E-Bike for Christmas.

I’ve got some admirers that follow me around in here, it’s a compliment as far as I’m concerned haha.

With regards to your kid being grown, I know these days are fleeting so I just soak up every second. My daughter has caught a lot of fish but she’s been dying to tag a deer… so glad to share it with her.
