Running a dedicated "ancor" brand tinned wire, ground to each light solves many problems.

My shite never works on my 40yr old flat boat's trailer. Always try to keep them working on the big boat.

They all fail sooner or later even sealed LED. I have one out on my trailer now. It’s a never ending battle. Anyone who thinks otherwise hasn’t owned a trailer long enough.

Right now I have a brake light and running light working on the right side, but no blinker. The left side has no running light and no brake light, but the blinker works. It is infuriating. Just when I think I've got it fixed something else goes out. This thread actually reminded me and I'm about to order and entire rewiring kit and rewire the whole thing.

My running lights aren't working. Can't figure it out but I honestly haven't tried very hard.

Not the fuses in my rig. They're fine. Any help?

Have you put a tester to the vehicle plug to verify that it's working correctly? That's step one if you haven't. My 7-pin plug had 3 fuses associated with it. Two under the hood (one for left, one for right that controlled blinkers and brake lights) and the other was just marked as "TRL-TM" and it was a 10-amp fuse in the fuse box under the back seat which controlled running lights

If it's not the the vehicle plug, 99.99% chance it's a faulty ground connection.

What kind of vehicle do you pull it with?

My boat trailer lights both work because i just replaced them. My four wheeler trailer lights both work sometimes. Sometimes one goes out. It will be fixed before next hunting season.

All of the important lights on my trailer work. A coupe of the unnecessary lights don’t. My boat trailer has too many lights on it.

Infiniti QX56

It has 2 fuses under the steering column I learned about online. They're fine. Regular fuse in box is fine.

Have a relay switch under the hood that has continuity.

I believe my dad did.

I'm about fed up anyway with the left bulb blowing every few trips.

Been wanting to put new lights etc, like the LED mentioned here.

easy. LEDs and run a dedicated ground wire and do away with the chassis ground. Solder all connections with heat shrink, liquid electrical tape and another layer of heatshrink. Time consuming to do it but once done, its done.

It's been much better now that I added side posts and the lights don't get dunked anymore.
