Yeah I do the same on my boat since the front deck is so big. Bass fishing is a different story.

totally agree. I tell people to fish on the front decl with me. Less stress than trying to position the back of the boat all day

Especially trout fishing in open water with the wind blowing the back end around, but even freshwater we will stand on the front deck.

Guy I work with told his wife to hold the rope while he launched the boat. After launching he went to park. Came back and there she was standing on the bow of the boat still holding the rope on the other side of the canal

Did she make him swim out to her or was she competent enough to turn it on and drive it back to him?

Or when he watches you get the boat on/off the trailer with out offering to help? And backlashes your reel - thus cutting into your catching time?

Time for a new fishing partner!

See this Zara spook see how if feel up side the back of your head.

Heck I usually fish side by side in my boat. I do love front boating my nephew so I can rub it in when I catch more than he does.

My main fishing buddy is good about sharing expenses/bait/gas, and he's getting better with running the trolling motor; but he sucks with the anchor; SPLASH every damn time.
