My wife backs the boat. Zero issues.

This is probably my biggest pet peeve. Be on time or at least have the courtesy to call me and say "hey, I am running late but I will be there".

This. I cannot stand waiting on someone, especially if you cannot contact them. If I say I will be there at 6, you can find me at least 5-10 minutes early.

I once had a rep for still being in my grippers when one would arrive to pick me up.

With all the issues described in this thread, I don't think I would be fishing with the people y'all do. If someone was consistently late/messed up my shite/generally unpleasant to fish with, I just wouldn't fish with them again. There are plenty of competent people out there willing to show up on time, bring their own gear, know the rules of a boat and chip in for gas/supplies that I don't waste time on someone I don't like fishing with.

Ill even pinch the turd off early if I look down and see time is not on my side. I just hate being in a mad dash to the woods or water, that is when shite breaks or gets broken.

I lined my truck up so that all my wife had to do was back up slow and straight making small corrections as needed. She just about jack-knifed the trailer before a guy jumped in and backed it up.

Her line does look like multiple Ss, but she gets it eventually.

Can't drive so I was at his mercy. Plus, this is maybe the second time that he's been late and we fish/ hunt together 40+ times a year.

I have been known to be fairly aggressive and abusive if i arrive at my fishing partner's house, and he is still in bed.

What about going get your fishing partner in the morning only to have him not answer the door and send you a text saying he got drunk last night and isn't going!

This. I'm boatless, but know what I am doing with the boat, always show up on time, bring beer, drinks, snacks and sandwiches on my dime, cover the launch fee, bait and share gas (most of the guys I fish with usually refuse the gas, as we're usually fishing inside and burn a negligible amount). This is simply boating etiquette and how I was raised. If you go out on somebody else's boat, that's just what you do. They bought the boat, you bought the food, drinks and bait.
I've seen various others come and go on the same boats and not get invited back for being the douche that has to hurry up and leave and can't clean up, doesn't know what he is doing, etc.
ETA - my favorite was the guy fishing with us on my friend's flat boat, who kept telling him how he should really get a big Skeeter bay boat because it is so much better, how the 15 year old Johnson probably wouldn't last much longer, etc. He almost got thrown out, but shut the frick up when directly told to.
