I have a Browning Citori White Lightning that I love. Shoots well, no problems with it.
That said, I borrowed a Weatherby O/U once for a quail hunt and that thing is equipped with some sort of anti-miss feature. Fell in love with it then and there. Went to try to buy one and discovered they quit making them.

It probably has to do with the gun fitting you and less with that actual gun...
Picture of a adjustable gun for fitting...

be careful with them. hunting buddy of mine has a side by side that has constantly had problems with the right side not firing. its been to the gunsmith twice and it still will not bat 1.000
it is a beautiful gun

They did. But I posted a link on the first page of one for sale. From when SKB was making them for weatherby (the better quality ones)

I was eyeing one of these real hard CSMC Inverness before the promo price expired (they offered a couple thousand off for buying early and being a prior customer.) Decided not to pull the trigger but I still really like the gun. LINK

I can't wait to one day have a gun fitted to me.

I think the Japanese made Weatherby OU's are spectacular values. They can often be found in good used condition on most of the major gun websites at reasonable prices.
If fit is a concern there is no better way than to visit a dealer...

I have the Cynergy Eurosport... It's been pretty good but all that hooplah about less recoil from the Cynergy design is jibberish. It has a very sharp kick and that 3.5" model will rock your world...

Check out ithaca-skb model 500 or 600 on gunbroker. Great shotguns.

I'm in the same boat as the OP. I was looking at the silver pigeon and the citori. What are your thoughts between the two? The 625 citori's on gunbroker new or around $1800 plus or minus and the new 725 model is around $2200. Any large difference between the two? I was looking more on the lines of a 20g
