I've always been more of a semi-automatic pistol guy, and have only recently discovered the beauty of craftsmanship and rugged functionality of a good old revolver. I'm kind of nerding out looking them up and want more ideas.

Single action or double action, what are some of your favorite revolvers?

I'm a bit more old fashioned I guess, so as far as revolvers go, I like my Ruger Vaquero in 45 colt.

I'd stick with the old S&W's-pre-lock.

I own a S&W 629-4. I have yet to shoot it.

I long for a S&W 547. The only 9mm revolver (that I know of) that doesn't require moon clips.

Ruger single six is my favorite that I own. The blackhawk is right on its heels. I'm a single action guy.

The single six is just so easy to shoot well. I feel like hits are automatic with it

Father in Law has a Ruger Super Blackhawk chambered in .44Magnum. Sweet shooting gun. Always wanted a pistol/rifle combo that shot the same round...so like a Marlin Lever Action and a Ruger revolver....call me old-fashioned.

I have a Ruger Match Champion and a Dan Wesson 15-2VH Pistol Pack, would like to get a single action in 45 LC. The Ruger is fun to shoot, even full house .357 is comfortable.

I have loved my smith and Wesson governor. I carry it with me everytime I go into the woods. Got a couple .45 acp and the rest .410 in case of snakes.

S&W 686 plus

I love these. I went to the range once, saw a 686plus in 2.5" and a 686-1 in 6". Could not decide which I liked better, so I bought both.

I also love the old Colts, but I'm not an OT baller.

The Rugers are a close 2nd behind the S&Ws for me in terms of guns I can actually buy.

I have a Single Six which may be my favorite.
Heritage Rough Rider
GP100
Just picked up today a Blackhawk in .45 with a 4” barrel.

I think I want another .44 mag but I’d get it in DA

The 4” pre-war Colt Police Positive is one of the prettiest revolvers ever made IMO. Very graceful lines, almost delicate. Nothing is out of place.
