When I went by Chicot Lagoon yesterday, it was mud flats left and right, with a channel not much wider than a boat.
The cuts by Bayou Chevee all had more water.
That dog covered some ground and he is halfway to Venetian Isles.

When i went through there, i heard barking, swung the boat around only to realize Sombody has deer hounds or coon hounds penned up a few buildings over from Lombards. They wanted out of their pen.

Spoke to some people looking for a ride, will know whenever.
Frick sore boy, this mutt has to be found. I'm in for the AM.
lsuquiettiger@yahoo.com usually works.
I plan on printing the map and doing what I can from there.
I'll respond with my cell if you respond.

Double banded greenhead hanging out of his mouth.

Tough hound you got there, though

about 25 years ago my dad and I parked a 14' flat boat in the middle of that channel about 50yds in and say there and caught speckle trout until we couldn't lift our arms any more.

Tide was flowing out the lagoon into Sauvage. Just casted out with a shallow diving, floating minor on the line and within 10 seconds you were reeling in a trout. THE ABSOLUTE BEST fishing memory I have with my Dad.

It was a school day. I was sitting in my class and looked out the window and thought "that looks like my Dad's car and boat". Then I hear "cdaniel76, please come to the office". Dad took us to Gerald's donuts for some late breakfast and off to the launch at Lombards. We got home a little before mom did. Dad said, "boy, go take a bath and don't you tell your momma I got u out of school today. As far as these fish are concerned, I caught them on my day off today".

Yes sir, Dad! She still doesn't know about that trip to this day.

Hoping tomorrow turns into one of those lasting memories for you and your son WHEN you find Grizzly!
