Been hitting refresh to see if somebody posted this and hoping what I heard wasn't true. I heard about it right after lunch. Don't want to post specifics of how/where out of respect for the deceased. Sad to hear man. Had a function coming up with him in a couple of weeks too. You never know man.

Damn. Anybody got a link?

Our company is a sponsor of the show. And I had introduced him to our owner.

Wow man that’s horrible. He seemed like such a positive happy guy on the show.

I spoke to someone who knows him well and there are still some murky details, but supposedly, he walked into the ER in Thibodaux and said he wanted to donate his body. He went into the bathroom and placed a suicide note and his ID on the sink and then shot himself with a pistol he carried with him. Allegedly, the note says something to the effect that “the person I killed was an accident”

His friends are speculating he may have killed someone with his truck, but no officials have released any information.

This is terrible. I’ve known him for probably 30 years. He always had a smile on his face. He was a truly nice person and a great ambassador for the fishing and hunting culture of South Louisiana.
