I get your excited about your purchase, but how about we wait a while to give some people time to get over this tragedy. This kind of insensitive rhetoric only furthers the anti gun lobby's cause.
While I agree in being sympathetic, the reason this tragic event happened is one man decided there was no value in hundreds of other people's lives. By arguing for "gun control" and discussing "mental illnesses in America" we are only ignoring the fact that evil exists. Until we quit trying to humanize the perpetrators of these heinous acts, pushing gun control measures, and making it a political agenda, and instead focus on the fact that some people are just evil, we won't have a solution.

True that.

Just watched a youtube video of a bump stock. It turns an AR into legit auto?

What exactly are they good for?

Basically just pushes the trigger into your finger for rapid semi auto fire.

yes... we can rationalize that part -most people simply cannot... 30 people a day die from drunk drivers in the US - where is the outcry there...... it fall silent.....

Murdering people is now "law abiding"? News to me.

That shite should be illegal...
You can bump fire an AR without one

I'd like to be able to share this stat. Got a link to confirm?

I like shooting my AR for sport. But most of all, taking out feral hogs on my property.

I’ve had one for a while now, shot 3 mags through it when I got it. It worked surprisingly well, but the barrel got red hot real fast. Said “that’s neat” and haven’t shot it since
If I was a betting man, I’d guess 50-75% have this exact experience with it as well.

Same here. After a full mag dump that Barrel was cherry red and was smoking the coatings and getting the furniture really hot. Civilian rifles are not built for sustained fire
ETA we don't have Uncle Sam supplying endless replacement parts lol

I just allows for very fast semi automatic fire. People can bump fire semi autos without one just as fast, the stock makes it easier for less skilled people. So technically no, the fire rate still isn’t as fast as it would be if the firearm was a true full auto.
Watch a Jerry Miculek video or two, dude is superhuman fast on a trigger and he doesn’t need any special equipment.

Nope. Rapid fire semi.

I'd define it as guys who buy guns, gun accessories and ammo in bulk quantities in reactionary fear that something maybe taken away or that it maybe a little harder to find because of some tragedy or a legislator making an anti-gun statement.
I'm all for decking out your guns however you want with whatever add-ons, silencers, etc, but a bump stock or trigger crank really has no function other than trying to circumvent the effort of buying an automatic weapon.
