Bowie Outfitters has partnered with Henderson Auctions to sell 50,000 items in multiple online only auctions. The inventory reduction auctions will happen in 3 phases with the first auctions starting Monday, August 21st through Saturday, August 26th. Lots start closing at 10am and close in sequential order. Bowie Outfitters is not going out of business ...this is surplus inventory that came from a buy out of a large sporting goods company.
The auctions will include new and used firearms, long guns, pistols, bows, bow accessories, cooking supplies, safes, hunting equipment, fishing equipment, scopes, gun parts, and so much more!
The next phase of the Bowie Outfitter auctions will be included in the Sportsman Auction starting Monday, August 25th through Saturday, August 30th.
Check out www.hendersonauctions.com for all the details!

What’s up with all the Husqvarna rifles??

I made some good buys yesterday. It's a lot to wade through and there's certainly some stuff I have no interest in, but there is some nice gear too.

Chicken posting on the OB reminds me of the time our plant manager pissed in the plebes urinal. A proud day for the lesser of us.

I "won" a bow,but after the fees, I probably lost money. I let my white cans and wanting a "new" bow get the best of me. Used is always the best way.

Missed out on a rifle. The fees bump it up to the point it’s not really much of a deal anymore. For a $500 retailing gun a bid of $350 is pretty much max to get a small discount.

I "won" a used Mossberg 500a 12 gauge for $160 (+ fees)
How'd I do JGT?

probably not good according to this site
after a $40 background check fees, 18% buyers premium, taxes, and all other stuff, your cost will be close to $250. Those shotguns used sell for around $175 - $200.

There were some bargains; I picked up 5 boxes of 300 Savage ammo with a retail sticker of $49.99 per box for $30 on the first day of the auction. That should keep my old Savage 99 working for several years. 5 boxes sold in today’s auction for $160.
