Yes, but greenjeans in South America can be bought off more easily.

Pardon me if I don't simply take the word of a shady internet site.

Personally, I'm not going to us a poison that kills another mammal (or any animal really). Too much chance that I get the poison in my system plus, I'm not really keen on eating the meat of a deer that was killed with poison. I would sure never let Tigerdeacon Jr., be exposed to taht.

Plus, it takes a long time for lead poisoning to get you.

Wat about tribes in the amazon who use a stick and string? Thats about as caveman as you can get... But some use poision from a frog on the tips! Are they cheating too?

Man I hope to God you're trolling.

Let me go back and retrieve this post from 2 hours ago that an ole sumbitch made, cause this thread just keeps making circles....

quote:

when we used it back in the 70's the bows, arrows and blades were nowhere near as efficient as the ones of today.
not that it makes any difference, still illegal, but i'm on the fence about it.. it allowed some of my friends to take shots that they shouldn't of taken, probly the same thing now.
but, you can argue that it puts a deer down quicker on a good or decent shot.... just a personal decision, i guess...

but what about pigs can I ethically hunt them with posion tipped arrows in the eyes of the OB.

Things that are OB approved to meet death via poison arrow:

1. Hogs
2. Trespassers
3. Snakes that look like they may be dangerous or just seem shifty.
4. Uncollared dogs

BTW... got my first bowkill this weekend.
A doe. No Pods.

She was almost straight down beneth the ladder. I was a little nervous and hit the stand with my cam. She looked up and hunched back at the time I released.

Grim reaper, ripped he throat out. 20yards and not a drop of blood left in her. Spot where she fell looked like a paint can exploded.
