If you love eating huge chunks of green onions, go to Don's.

How they've gained their reputation is beyond me.

Billy's or Best Stop.

Scott exit, North is Best Stop, great place to browse...good boudin, stuffed pork chops, etc. Almost an old time Cajun meat market. Now for boudin balls, eat them on the ride, get them at Billy's....used to be on South side of Scott exit, think he may have moved a little from there but WELL WORTH THE EFFORT...RIDE TO HOUSTON WITH TWO OF THOSE LITTLE RASCALS IN A BAG WILL MAKE A BANG OF A PLEASURE.

In-laws is also in Iowa. Plenty to choose from, but the boudin wraps, fried ribs and lil sausages are tasty. Can't go wrong with either.

Update: Just stopped at Billy’s for some smoked boudin and a boudin ball. Both are exceptional. Not the biggest fan of the cream cheese but the spice and flavor is really good. Gonna stop at Rabideaux as well for some of the smoked sausage.

What did you get from there that had cream cheese? The Boudin Balls have pepperjack in them.

Cook that shite outside. I wouldn't cook that crap again if it was free.

Smells like wet ashes and is potent.
Maybe some people like their food smelling like a campfire though?

Market Basket in Vidor has good boudin. Take the 105 exit and it’s on the right. Buncha backwoods deliverance looking folks in there but they’re harmless.

Or just buy their sausage at Nunus or Albertsons in Broussard.

It is the best commercial sausage I’ve had tho.

Damn, y’all are gonna make me fat. My dumbass passed up Rabideauxs on the way through. I’ll have to stop at a couple of these on the way home. Anyone ever tried Johnson’s boudin before? Heard that’s a must try as well.
