Wait, is there a recreational season for these? I thought only certain long liners could keep a couple?

Maybe the other boats are catching their tuna a little different or taking care (bleeding them better/quicker, cooling them down better/quicker, etc.) of them better.

I haven't watched the show lately. Just speaking from my experience with fisherman.

Frickin' 13 yo caught it. That dude has the life. They take that boat down to costa Rico a lot, too.

Essentially yes, but like mentioned, no hooks. It's called a dredge and it's typically under the spread. Bunch of people run cameras on them and you get some really cool shots of fish coming at them.

Over the last several years, Kaleb has caught (tagged) more Blue Marlin than any other Junior Angler

Those dudes don't mess around as the Whoo Dat was custom built and cost $2.5
