This is where those little 5-10 second videos on the cameras would help.

That tail seems way too thick on the cat.

I'm of the opinion the pic is fabricated. Why ? Trail cams and security cameras use infrared lights for night vision to take images in the dark and not spook animals. The IF lights result in eyes shining and glowing even from side profile pics. Even when using a flashlight or spotlight, animal eyes will shine at night.
2 pics below with shining eyes and the OP's pic. I could be wrong with my guess, and maybe the cats eyes are closed. Additional images could prove my opinion right or wrong.

Either one of them figured it out or they paid some techy 14yr old a case of beer to Fk with people.

Maybe so, no telling.

Almost see through or computer generated.
-no shine in eyes. But all other animals do
-rear legs don’t look right.
-face looks too detailed.
-bottoms of feet look to be colored in very precisely.
The deer look less computer generated and actually real.
^^But this looks real.
So does this

Someone put a cardboard cut out of a cat and got a pic.

Though certainly possible, I suspect someone is playing with the old feller. They altered the pic and sent it to him. If the camera takes multiple pics it would show up on other shots.

Big Bobcat. I’ve seen them that big number of times

Big long bob tail too???? LOL

I’ve had some hefty bobcats just by prints alone up in Folsom but haven’t seen any long tails. Cat and coon look digitized.

Saw a big cat north of clinton back in the early 90's coming home from my lease in centerville crossing main hwy about 10 in the morning

I live in the Folsom area with woods surrounding me. I have seen bobcats and red foxes, I have heard the screech of a cat in the woods but assumed it was bobcats. Not convinced by these pics that there is a big cat roaming the area.

Not saying it’s not a bobcat but YouTube fox cry or fox scream and see if maybe it’s not a fox!!!

This is interesting. We have family land between Franklinton and Bogalusa, my grandparents still live on the property. My grandfather swears he’s seen a big cat on the property a few different times. As a crow flies, this isn’t far from Folsom.

I used to hunt by windmill. There was a fairly big cat I would see every now and then. I chalked it up to a real big Tom cat. It was black with lite colored stripes and a long tail. The damn squirrels would haul arse then it would appear. I never got a great look at it. It would come out at dusk in really thick woods.

It’s legit, my buddy is up there and got him on cam a couple nights ago. Word is that it was someone’s pet that escaped… just asked for his pic, will post shortly
ETA: nevermind, he has same pic and isn’t sure it’s legit
