14 years old. She's already lapped everyone I know

This 14 year old girl has killed a 13 pt, 11 pt, and a 238" deer in 3 consecutive seasons on public land?

Is it truly public land. Can anyone drive there and hunt?

Eta: looks like army base land; only certain people can hunt, so not really "public land"

Damn it

Plenty of military land allows hunting to the general public. You’re being silly.

Billions of dollars have been spent in Texas for deer hunting and few bucks like this have been produced. Amazing animal.

this past weekend was a youth only weekend so his hand may have been forced. When it finally gets back from the taxidermist, my kid will have a bigger buck on the wall than me for that same reason.

Incredible kill. Beautiful deer. That said I would bet a lot of money that deer escaped from a neighboring high fence operation. Would be an interesting DNA study for sure. If that is a truly wild deer, that genetic line should be studied.

I was definitely not trying to be a dick. I looked at the article and it lists the types of people/ government employees allowed to hunt there, It does not appear to be open to the general public. If it was, I might go do some scouting. Ha!

The video says it was killed on Red River Army Depot... I'm not sure what that info does to all of you measuring your dicks against a 14 yo girl because I don't hunt... But that's where it was killed

Which is said to total 12000 acres in Bowie County. It's definitely open land though.

Could be an escapee also. Can’t believe you admit to killing that deer and others then go on the news channel and tell everyone in Texas where you killed it and that there are so many big bucks there that a a 14 year old girl has been killing one every year.

Wouldn’t be surprised if it was a lie one bit. Rather the father is sending people in the direct opposite way (I could see me doing this if I knew I couldn’t keep a lid on something) or that he is just wanting internet cool points.
