How are you cooking the teal? I’ve not had much luck getting them to taste very good

Woodrow, GW Teal, then probably the elusive and rare Mallard. After that it’s a free for all. You never know when a Grey Duck might be full of duck weed. Late in the season Pintails will eat literal mud out of a skinny water field. And do Hollywood’s even need to be discussed?

Woodies/Teal tied in first, then Mallards/Sprigs followed by Gads, Cans, and Reds. Really depends on how you're cooking it though. I think Woodies, Mallards, and Teal are going to be the undisputed top 3 out of everyone here, if I had to guess.

Tenderize them, then but them in a saltwater brine for 1 day. Fry them up and toss them in franks red hot buffalo sauce. Boom, you have buffalo duck wings. Dip in ranch or blue cheese

Thank me later

Taste like what they eat.

A big dogris when if first makes it down full of fat is just as good as any puddle duck.

To me bluewinged teal in September aren’t anything like green winged teal as far as taste

Also depends on how you take care of them. Some folks shoot bluewinged teal, they land on some nasty marsh, go get their rock dog to go retrieve them, throw the teal in the bottom of the boat in direct sun at 95 degrees, leave them there til that afternoon before they clean them. I ain’t eating that
