Have the plug done, battery switch on, keys located and rope ready before you head to the ramp. Keeps you from having to climb in the boat down there. Then stay tight to the dock like they said.

I bought these for this reason. When they came in they are exactly the same as my vortex diamondbacks.

Those work on smooth ground but if you have rough roads/plots then the mounted version works better.

Got one off amazon for $300 that makes 100/lbs per day, holds 30lbs.

Has been working for a few months no issues. I also keep a couple extra bags in the deep freezer for loading up the boat.

Works really well when its hot outside.

After it gets cold they hit the corn more.

Theres alot bran, molasses, and corn mix's out there that people swear buy. But i usually dump a sack infront the camera to get pics early season.

As most have said, sprayed, cut, chop and fertiziler are all done.

But sometimes we dont drop seeds untill rifle opener. Depends on the rain, It doesnt take long to run back around just to trow seeds before a good rain is coming.

Sometimes.

If anyone knows anyone in the parish can you please find out why we pay to run the electric pumps and hanson and keep the gate closed?

That gate maybe closed 2 times in 40 years before that pump station was installed. Now we pay to run the pump and haul grass out the bayou instead of just leatting it flow out.

re: 410 gauge question

Cross bow.

Way more accurate at 35 yards than a 410.
same as the fire hose but an old coozie works for a year or two move the screws over.
I have had 3 Toyotas and the brakes sucked on all of them. Working trailer brakes were a must for the bayboat if you towed at highway/interstate speeds.

The manual airbags for the back of that sequoia are only like $150. If that one has the 5.7 with the 6 speed then you have one of the most reliable drive trains ever.
There was money to subsidize the oyster loss in the 3billion. They were getting paid if it was installed.

Landy couldn't hand out the work to his buddies since the scope was already approved. Guessing his construction buddies pressured him into scraping the project so their competition couldn't make money.
He stated its a carb engine, vst is only for fuel injection.

Plenty of two strokes had the vst for the the fuel injection.
Depending on the kids size most of the regular rifles that have the spacers in the stock now get with in a half inch of compact LOP with all the spacers out.

Didn't go compact when i bought and it hasn't been an issue with them always shooting from some sort of rest.

re: Trout rod recommendations

Posted by snapper26 on 6/26/25 at 8:55 am to
You guys spend way more money on rods than i do.

Do you guys have kids or friends using these when they are in the boat?
Lost a 20' boat in the bottom of the Houma tunnel.

Chains held and was able to drag it all the way out.

Bolt that connects the latch to the catch broke.

Ended up with a whole new trailer the next week.

re: Rods shipped in plastic?

Posted by snapper26 on 6/19/25 at 11:05 am to
had some amazon rods 2 weeks ago show up like this.

If they would had been anything but ugly sticks no way they would have survived.

Bass pro still ships in a box.
