I want to believe this buck was killed near Baton Rouge.......

But

In that pic, is that a Louisiana Tag?
I don't recognize it as thus.....

Are you/we getting hoaxed?

No offense. Just an observation.

I want to believe!!!!!!!

Looks just like a La tag to me. And the guy who is reported to have killed it isn't known as a "jokester".

Rough score of 202 without deductions from what I am told. Someone else had pics of this deer the year before. This year he put on a lot mass. One base was close to 5.5 inches. 9 inch brow tines and the G2s were just under 12 inches. Supposedly Wildlife and Fisheries were coming today to look at him.

Well, hell yes then!!!!
This is wonderful!!!

What a monster

I admit that I thought the deer tags had some green in them, but I moved last year out West.......so maybe I just forgot.

Duck must be in shock after shooting this buck.

I saw the pics on FB, but no one has any other details in the comments. I sent the pic to my dad so I'm sure he'll know everything before long. I did see this in the comments "Now to all that say pride has no big deer hears proof lol good job"

Funny thing is I never knew him to be much of a hunter.

More details are needed here.

Raw score?
Circumstances of kill?
Land? Private? Public?
Shooter?
Gun? Caliber?
Bow? Fixed or mechanical? Haha!

Would love to know all the details. That's a once in a lifetime buck!!
