I just got an update on my nephew and while the family would appreciate this staying private at this time, I would like to ask for continued prayers. My sister & my nephews wife have already heard people are spreading rumors that he has passed. Not necessarily in this group, but on FB. That is NOT the case & he is still with us. So please don't believe anything you may see posted outside of this. All I will say is he is in for the fight of his life and he could use continued prayers. As does his wife, daughter, parents & the rest of the family. Thank you all so much!

Seen that on Da Buzz

Just read about it, and I’m pretty sure one of my neighbors was involved. Haven’t been able to find many details, but it doesn’t sound good.

They usually ride with a crew of guys with Allison’s and they run them hard from what I’ve seen.

Prayers to all involved.

Welp that waterway will be gated off soon because of the accident.

I heard from a credible source they were racing and one boat lost Control and they hit each other sending one boat airborne then hitting a shrimp boat.

I heard the same.

And they were not duck boats, they may have rod holders in them, but they aren’t fishing boats either.

More like crotch rockets on water.

When I heard it was a boat accident in Dulac that happened while the sun was up, I suspected it had to be some nonsense like this.

Man, that sounds bad, mostly because it sounds unnecessary. I guess I just have too much respect for the water and how when you go out of control at speed you are truly out of control. Ain't no brakes on a boat and no tires to skid. Prayers for the families.

I spent a life tie working on the water and needless to say I have seen some terrible things usually always they included speed, alcohol, and Testosterone to excess I will pray for healing and more important wisdom

Two Allisons. The 03 Ally hooked and the 02 Ally hit him between the drivers seat and the motor. 02 Ally cartwheeled a few times. The driver of the 02 Ally that cartwheeled is in the worse condition. Wish them both a full and speedy recovery.

I saw some guys out in Hopedale with Allisons and 300 Mercs about a week ago. One guy was driving a lifted/leveled Tahoe.

Those Allison bass boats are scary fast. Can't imagine what happens when things go wrong.

How big was the Monster Energy sticker on the back window?

They can be scary fast but they also get misused. I'm not saying this guy did. They also take a considerable amount of experience to operate properly.
