Anyone build a fence for yourself lately? Looking at a quote on chainlink and trying to figure out if I want to do it myself or not.

I'd be interested in this as well because I might be building one soon too.

recently did a wood fence...so probably can't be much help.

rent and auger and run the chain link yourself...not that hard.

Keep my wife's little dog inside and other dogs outside.

Allow me to let the dog out and not worry abt him getting whacked by a car too.

I got a price from a friend who did a 6 ft wood himself, ended up being like $7.50 a LF including everything.

I am wondering abt chain though.

I would probably just use aluminum posts, maybe get a thicker one than they quoted, or just buy what's on their list.

Not bad. I was quoted around $8000 for about 400 LF. We've thought about doing it ourselves though
