Any 2019 Dodge Ram owners?

I wasn't really considering Dodge for my next truck but just watched some videos on YouTube and they seem to compare favorably to what gmc and Ford are selling.
The interior looks much better than both gmc and Ford. What are the main complaints against dodge?

Not a 2019 owner but I've owned 2 Rams and a Dakota and they were all good vehicles. I drove them all over 100k and never had any major issues with any of them.
ETA - I drive a F150 now because I just wanted to try something different. I've driven Ram/Dodge trucks since 1998.

No such thing as a Dodge Ram.

Neighbor has a new 2019 Limited. All the bells and whistles. He loves it and it rides very nice. If I was ready for a new truck, Id look at one.

I owned one as well. Bought brand new and traded it in at 180,000 miles. Pulled a 4 thousand lb boat+trailer around the last 5 years. Zero issues. I would not hesitate to buy another Dodge.

I wanted to look at the 2019 Rams, but I didn't want the 5.7 Hemi, I wanted a V6 and it is very hard to find one with a V6. But they are nice looking trucks, inside and out.
Picking up my 2018 F-150 Tomorrow

Nice looking trucks and I’m going to look at them when I’m shopping but I don’t know if I can get past the gear shifter dial. I know it’s petty but it just seems so strange.

I don't think you will have any issues getting it to 100k miles. All the trucks are great trucks to 100k or more, so if that's all you need go for it without hesitating.
My dad's late 2000s started really falling apart with electrical and interior problems about 120k miles. I don't know much about the newer trucks but I'm curious to know if they are similar.

its actually ideal. much better than a pointless shifter in the way for no reason.

I hear you but I like to “feel” shifting gears. I daily a manual now and going to an auto will be hard enough as it is.

I wouldn't either. I almost wish I'd waited another year before I bought my last one. I would have considered the Ram and the F150.

An Italian car company merged with the least reliable American car company and they are producing vehicles.

I've never looked much at Dodge, but they have bigger discounts/rebates on them than Ford does.
I did have a 1994 Dakota, it was a pretty good truck. Started having transmission issues at about 80K.

I know Ram trucks have a bad rep on this site but I have had three in the last 18 years. I have looked at Chevy and Ford and I keep going back to Ram.
No, I have never had a yellow one with a racing stripe and I’ve never had my white sunglasses and flat bill sitting on my dash.

Their discounts have definitely caught my eye, and once I actually started looking at them I realized they have come a long ways in catching up with Ford as far as interiors. Definitely going to give them a hard look for my next truck

I drive a 2019 Ram.
The interiors are far and away better than Ford or GM trucks. No cheap hard plastic and the UConnect system puts both Ford's Sync and GM's MyLink to shame. Ride quality is also leagues better since they don't use leaf springs in the rear. I also opted for Ram Boxes which I won't own another truck without.
As far as complaints go, the new truck is longer so garage-ability can be an issue - but the added length allowed them to add reclining seats in the rear. I think most people complaining about service issues must have not driven them much since the early 00's. My major issues come more from the technology. Driving through a hay field with front park sense on drives me nuts. Only have to press a button to turn it off but it'd be nice if the system was smart enough to know the difference between Tift 85 and a concrete wall.

I traded my 2015 RAM in on a 2019 Ram. I got $8000 off but should have waited and bought one in KC Mo,,where you can get $13k off! Love the truck and the Hemi averages 21.5 MPG. THE REASON I bought the 2015 is the 8 speed tranny which has no noticeable shifting. Never did anything except tires on the 2015 and drove it 80k. Uconect feature in the 2019 isn't has good as the 2015" voice texting doesn't work well.

What are the tranny temps for the 8-speed when towing heavy? It seems like it would constantly be searching for the right gear
