I watched the first couple seasons of the show and then got turned off it, but this one - thanks to the OB and Roland being a badass has been great fun to watch. Glad he won and have to agree that that little blonde is a tough chick, really enjoyed how she wasn't a constantly crying emotional wreck like the brunette.

I agree Callie was a beast, and I would've been pissed at day 89 (i think it was) if they would've told me that they were bringing me in against my will because of a little frost bite lol. She made it that long and that million bucks was gonna be in her pocket in less than 2 weeks, but instead they told her she was done. I'd be pretty salty about that decision.
Roland, that dude was an animal. It takes a special kind of person to be that mentally and physically strong to stay out there the whole time living off the land. Hats off to him!

Yes Roland made it 100 days and won a million bucks, truth is he looked like he could of went a lot longer if needed
Callie the blond chick got pulled out at day 89 because of frostbite on her toes, I got nothing but respect for her, mentally she was ready to stay the 100 days, hate that she got pulled so close to the end
the dark headed girl(Kaylyn?) tapped out at day 80, she was emotionally all over the place, but anybody that makes it 80 days out there is tough
I think that each contestant gets $1500/week that they are out there
Roland is back guiding hunts in Alaska now, he just had 2 guys from Baton Rouge on a Dall Sheep hunt and they both killed hammers, he has another group in sheep camp currently and then moves on to Moose which opens on Sept 5

Just finished watching it.. I don’t think I could have ate the paunch. Roland is a beast if I ever decide to hunt Alaska he will be the first one I call.. The last 2 ladies killed it. They did what most men couldn't. I would have been very upset if I was Callie but risking permanently damaging yourself isn't worth it.

Finally got to watch the finale tonight. Watched all season (first time I’ve heard of the show) and was pulling for Roland. When he ate the hoof and the stomach contents, I was thinking things were looking pretty bleak. When he busted out the marrow victory celebration with sis, I was like damn, he was just showing off.
Felt so bad for Callie. I was hoping when they tried to pull her over the toe, she’d just bust out her porcupine-quill-extracting knife, chop the toe off, and say “What frostbitten toe?” The other bitch was crazy, but mad props for outlasting all the other guys.
Awesome show.
